“We got the Brunch for 2 and we loved it. The balance between sweet and savory food is just right. The eggs were done well enough not to make a mess when eating the bread, and the onions were caramelized very well. One element for improvement is that the peanut butter was too thick, and when combined with the pancake, was too difficult to chew.
The staff is really nice and friendly, and good vibe/music.

“We had coffee and breakfast and the overall experience was good. The service was very kind, fast and attentive. I had the continental breakfast. The food quality was not impressive, but considering there aren’t many good places around, the proximity to the beach, and the speed of service, I would recommend to visit.“

“It was great. I went with my son for his 21st birthday, and we had a blast. The live music was great and the staff and patrons were all lovely.
The Guinness was second only to the ones I've had in Dublin.

“Visited Portimao for the first time to meet some friends who live here, and they brought me to this restaurant for dinner. I tried the speciality francesinha and it was absolutely amazing.
Service was very nice and friendly as well.

“Carvoeiro Bar is een bekende van ons. Elk keer dat we naar Carvoeiro gaan, bezoeken wij altijd deze bar. Het is er gezellig en de eigenaar, Bob, zorgt er altijd voor dat er iets te zien of te vieren valt, zoals live muziek, karaoke of zoals dit keer ook de EK. “Beautiful and well decorated space, when we arrived we were suggested the Gin of the week, I confess they were very weak. I ordered a different one and a very well made Gin. With so much variety of Gins, we tried 2 more of the Gins made and recommended by the bartender, surprising and fantastic, some of the best I've ever tasted, and which have nothing to do with the ones from the week recommended.“

A good range of drinks including cocktails all reasonably priced , nice and relaxing atmosphere with lovely customers. “Great little bar, staff were very friendly and prompt with service. Drank way too many mai tai’s. Bar is linked with next door. Tried one of the burgers while here and it was a lot better than expected would happily order one again in future. Seats outside would be better if they were cushioned but only really an issue if staying for a long period“

“I went to see Portugal- Czechia. I ordered a Guinness to drink and wanted something to drink/eat (they told us there wasn't any). Service somewhat abnormal as we had to get up and go to the counter to order and there wasn't even a table and they came to bring it. Thanks to Vitória de Portugal, suffered, for the environment and for Guinness“

“The staff at this little bistro is always so welcoming and attentive. The food is delicious and reliably consistent. The drinks are top notch. We went on a Wednesday and enjoyed the live music. Lots of people having a nightcap at the bar at 10pm.“

“We came here to use the pool mostly.It's big enough to enjoy proper swimming or having fun with your kids. Great service from the people at the café/restaurant. Home made pizza is always a great choice, there is a vegetarian option too“

“Very welcoming little bar to stumble across on way back from supermarket in the pouring rain !Amazing selection of drinks and just an easy place to sit and chill out - sad to miss out on their Sunday dinner though so will need to come back to Porches as other customers say it’s amazing ?“
“Great bar which serves English type food, great selection of beers and spirts at great prices compared to the town centre. Ideal place to watch sports and also play darts and a quiz on a Wednesday. Big mention to Sarah who always makes you feel welcome and nothing is to much trouble.“

“Excellent bar with great service, great view, spacious, on Sundays at 4pm there is always music in the outdoor area, sometimes live with a wonderful and friendly singer and a musician with a very high quality guitar.

“Decent place where you can drink a good imperial beer (small) at a political price i.e. 80 cents, we spent about 2 hours talking with a friend and we drank 2 beers each!!! In the end the bill as stated was €3.20,it certainly ispm to recommend.“

“We turned up late and they were in the process of clearing up. But we were welcomed inside for a drink and spent half an hour having a lovely conversation with the proprietor and his staff. Gave us complimentary samosas which were the best I ever tasted. If you look at the way he tends his garden behind the property, you'll get an idea of how he treats his customers. Excellent“

“Amazing beach bar that balanced a very relaxed atmosphere with excellent service. The two in charge had everything under perfect control and were extremely helpful and kind when we asked (likely quite stupid) questions. Had the salmon sandwich and carpaccio sandwich between us and they were both divine.“
