It used to be a nice restaurant.. where food and service were awesome.. it change completely. We had lunch on the rooftop. Table for 4 use for 6… A waiter (seems to be the responsible of the rooftop) make fun of us, and comme t everything we were doing. Uncivil and rude as hell. As you can see the food was awful and super expensive. Chicken was undercooked we told him and he snatched the plate from my wife's hands.. 120€ for a plate of lobster overcooked this time and rice in water.. go away you’ll save money and time.

Overpriced. Slow and rude service. We complained politely about the 1,5 hours waiting time for lunch. They talked shit about us in portuguese when we were leaving, after ignoring us the whole time.

After waiting an abnormally long time for our food we asked at the bar if it was getting close to the main course being ready and they said 5 minutes. None of the waiters bothered to come to the table to inform us that it was taking longer than expected to make the risotto and spaghetti. When the food arrived, the waiter excused it by saying that there were several floors that were supposed to have food.
Before we were about to pay, a male waiter came to the table and apologized, saying that the chef was sleepy. It was funny and he made an attempt to save the situation.
But when we were about to leave, a female waitress loudly says at the door "if you want fast food, go to McDonald's. This is not a fast food restaurant". We were shocked by this indictment. We told her that it would be nice if she could wait until we had left before she said out loud in the restaurant what she thought of us. This was an absurd scene we have never experienced before. She got into a loud discussion with us and claimed that we hadn't waited long and referred us several times to McDonald's.
This is an overpriced restaurant with lousy service. Choose any other restaurant in this area.

Apart from the opinions on food and service, I would like to point out the poor treatment received by one of the tables attendants on the upper floor: I was confused thinking that my table was on the upper floor and they told me to leave in a rude manner, telling me it was a private room. I thought that those of us in the room upstairs or downstairs are going to pay the same, depending on the dishes you order. They must respect and learn to treat all customers equally. We have been very dissatisfied. I think that tourists must be treated well because they are the ones who give the money for these businesses to continue. They shouldn't forget it

I went to Rei das praias today for lunch with my mum and dad and my sister mollie I really enjoyed my lunch today I think my mum dad and my sister mollie enjoyed their lunch as well It was also lovely you had music on It had one of the songs on that I know I notice you had sabrina carpenter including espresso and please please please which is one of my favourite uk songs from spotify It sounding like a playlist because there were different types of songs that came on some was remixes of the actual version of the proper song I actually knew some of the songs I know kiss me more by Dojo cat and kiss my uh oh by Anne marie It's lovely to have music on in a restarant it brings good vibes The best part of going to this restarant today with my family because I could get a lovely view of the boats on the sea moving across the sea and see the speed boats rushing along the sea This restarant gets it's first 5 star rating for amazing and lovely staff lovely view of the sea wonderful music for a summer holiday very lovely food The staff that work there are very kind and very lovely The service is amazing Lovely music Lovely staff Lovely sea view of the boats I had a very lovely experience at this restarant today 5 stars all around This is one of the world's best restarants I have been to so far on my holiday in Portugal so far I glad I chose this one today not because of lovely view of the sea and boats because also it's one that has music on so you can hear it The music is clear enough to hear It has lovely food This restarant with the lovely sea view is for sure deserves a 5 star review from me It for sure deserves a very lovely good review Anyway have a lovely rest of your day Sorry about the long review I just had a few nice things to say about the restarant Enjoy reading my first google review

Twice we tried to go there for a drink. Each time we were refused access for reasons unknown, even though the restaurant was empty, there were plenty of free tables. The first time, after a refusal when I had a drink, I asked if it was different if we ate there. The waitress told me “we have room, but around 4 p.m.” Inevitably a way to discourage customers! So it’s impossible to have a drink if you don’t eat there afterwards. In addition, they sort out the clientele, which is insane for a beach restaurant. Rude staff to top it off. To flee !
So I just used the small bar for a few drinks. 2 barmen on, a bit of a que but no sense if urgency. I used to work a bar myself and smashing through the que and serving quickly in order to keep patrons happy (and make some quick money for the owners) was always a top priority.... but not here. The place is idyllic with incredible views in a small cove. It is very small and in high season it is very difficult to get a table without having made a prior reservation. The food is great and everything is very fresh but somewhat expensive, although the treatment and attention of the waiters is 10 and you also have to pay for that. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to give a good tribute regardless of the price. They also have an exclusive hammock service where they serve you whatever you want and make you feel like a King. I have reduced it one star because this is the last time we went and the prices are even more expensive than they already were, so I still recommend it but only for people with high purchasing power. Glasses of wine at a minimum €6 and the cheapest bottle of wine €29 And food, well, the best of the best but with prices that are also the best. We will not return. The hammocks are also amazing...€33
