Gastrobar Acrópole offers a mix of pleasant and not-so-pleasant experiences. While the first dish may not have met expectations, the staff's problem-solving skills and attentiveness can turn things around. The restaurant serves wonderful food, with standouts like the amêijoa à bulhão pato and alheira balls. The restaurant is pleasant with very friendly service, and the bathrooms are very clean. The service was exceptional, and the food was very good overall. Although desserts may be a bit pricey, they are always delicious, and there are some vegetarian options available, such as Pesto taglietelli with cream. One of the dishes, land and sea, included pork, beef, squid, and shrimp, with the shrimp being super tasty. The staff was attentive and apologized sincerely when a meal was not up to standard, even offering coffee. However, some guests found the food too expensive for what was served, and language barriers occasionally caused misunderstandings, especially during reservation and ordering. Despite these issues, many visitors plan to return, appreciating the friendly staff and good food.
