This was a good find as restaurants in the area tend to be very expensive. This was good, fresh, wholesome Portuguese food and plenty of it. Nicely presented and hot, hot, hot which is rare in Portugal. The service was friendly and efficient. This is a basic cafe style place with paper tablecloths but is well worth a visit. Some of the staff speak English which is helpful to lots of tourists who cannot and will not try to speak a word or two of the local language

Nice gentleman who met me at the door to make a suggestion for lunch on Mother's Day. I was pleased with that attention and made me want to come in. We had starters, an impeccable lunch, always making sure it was good and to our liking, and a fresh dessert, the house sweet. I will definitely return, I will recommend it better. Thank you, it was a special lunch with my children.

Octopus in the mill? Octopus cooked from the day before without going to the oven and mashed potatoes. Cold.Hake fillets and tomato rice. Golden-style fillets, which are just flour and tomato rice in which you can only taste the canned and salted tomatoes. I do not recommend.
