The suckling pig here is delicious. I'm not crazy about the house menu... Lots of beans, wet rice... But the regulars love it. And that's important :-)

After many years, we wanted to try this very special restaurant again. We had 3 starters (cheese; tripe; grilled black pudding, farinheira and chorizo) and 4 dishes served in small portions (kid with white beans; cabidela rice with rabbit; stewed beef with carrot rice and grilled wild boar with potatoes). A jug of red wine and a jug of white wine, a small green salad and two desserts (rice pudding and petite cream). When we asked to put the leftovers in a bag for our dogs, the waitress bluntly refused, claiming that the boss didn't want them. In the end, we managed to take the leftovers. We paid 44 euros for this unique menu with 2 coffees. Even though the portions are small, it's a lot.

Typical restaurant, very pleasant!
A different concept from the usual, 4 dishes are served in tasting mode, wild boar feijoada, rabbit cabidela, oven-baked lamb, roast suckling pig.
Dessert, sweet pajamas: cream cheese with sweet pumpkin, cream milk, rice pudding.
Friendly service as is the atmosphere.

We arrived at almost 3 in the afternoon to eat and they didn't give us any problems. Super friendly staff.
The food was great, we had suckling pig with potatoes and it was very tender and tasty.
The dessert was all homemade, they gave us a plate each with the three homemade desserts they had.
They offered us to repeat without problem.
And the best thing is the price, 38 euros for 2 people.

I had already tried three times to visit this restaurant. Unfortunately, it was always closed for holidays.
Today I did it and went with very high expectations.
I started to feel disappointed right from the start, I'm honest.
The starters are weak, including chorizo, farinheira and black pudding. The bread is great.
The first dish to arrive at the table was the Wild Boar with beans. (The beans were canned).
We were five people and one child. The food barely arrived for everyone. The doubt soon remained. If so, let's take it bathed.
Second course, Rabbit Cabidela. Very good, one of the dishes I liked most. But once again it wasn't enough for everyone. We had to ask for more, which they did right away.
Third course, roast lamb in the oven. Best service and very tasty.
Fourth and last dish, suckling pig. Very well served and well prepared, a little spicy. But great.
The excellent desserts, rice pudding, cream milk and cream cheese with pumpkin jam.
When paying, we had the right to taste Albertino's liqueurs.
Very friendly staff. It started less well, but ended very well. I loved. It's well worth going to Folgosinho.
