They serve good portions, very pleased with the customer service. Value for money, i usually pay €9 for a three dish meal including coffe. Highly recommend“

A different concept from the usual, 4 dishes are served in tasting mode, wild boar feijoada, rabbit cabidela, oven-baked lamb, roast suckling pig.
Dessert, sweet pajamas: cream cheese with sweet pumpkin, cream milk, rice pudding.

The village is very close to Serra da Estrela.We stayed in a very beautiful Hostel, "Pãolourinho", very courteous service and the place is beautiful with all the simplicity of the old one, very clean and private for those with family.The downside is that there are no conveniences or larger markets nearby.It's worth doing the "Rancho" in advance.Note 1000.“

“We would rate this 10 stars if we could! Dinner was an amazing experience. The dining area is super small, giving it a family feel. It was like eating at my Portuguese great-grandmother's house and the owner's made it feel cozy and comfortable. The decor added to the terrific ambiance. The food was every bit as nice. The seafood rice was loaded with clams, shrimp, fish, and flavor. The franceshinha especial was the best I've ever had. Both could have been shared, and we still would have left full. As it was, we were rolling out the door because of so much food. My wife was given a cute little shopping bag as a parting gift. Highly recommended!“

“After being refused in 2 restaurantes even though we arrived 1h before close time, a guy in the street saw us and took us to this restaurant. He told us, here they will serve you food and he was right. It is a small home based restaurant with super friendly people. Food is simple but delicious. We had the chicken which was nicely grilled and well seasoned together with the Secreto, sausage and salad. Plates were well served with rice and French fries as sides.“
