We stopped at Cafe Restaurante á Ivone on our way to Algarve Cost and we were in for an AMAZING surprise. It was not busy as it looked the we had just missed the lunch rush and they were only serving coffee, drinks and desserts. When we spoke to the owner we mentioned we were there for lunch and him and his wife spoke for a few minutes before he mentioned they had limited selections due to the time of day. He mentioned his wife could make us a pork plate with veggies and potatoes. We agreed because at that point we were not sure where else we would find food. However, this was the BEST food ever! ? the meat was so tender and juicy with the perfect mix of pickled veggies. My husband and I were head over the moon with the olives and cheese. By far, this place beats a lot of the other restaurants we visit in food and friendly staff. Thanks to the owners who basically made us feel like we were home.
