The worst experience I've had in restaurants participating in "Eel Month", which I've been participating in for over 15 years. We called in advance to book a table and reserve fried eel with bean rice for 8 people, between 12:00 and 12:15. When we went to place the order, they didn't even bother to present the menu. At that time there were no fried eels left?! We had to order stew, stew and grilled eel. When we were served late and at a bad time, by a frowning employee with no training whatsoever, we started looking at the dishes and that was the surprise. The stew was pretty much just bread. The stew had no more than 1 or 2 eels at most, and the platter of grilled eels for 3 people, had no more than 1 (one) eel per person and amazingly, they were accompanied by a salad. We had to order a portion of fries that were burnt, to accompany the grilled eels?!I'm still in doubt today, whether that little dish with 3 eels wasn't just twelve?! But it wasn't, because each grilled eel was charged €21.00 which amounted to €63.00.To forget, both the service and the food!!!The whole table was aware that in the absence of lamprey this year, the eel took its place! The mitigating factor, and this is the reason, is that the restaurant changed management relatively recently and we later found out from the waiter that that was the last day he would be working there?! It's not just about receiving the money, there has to be a minimum of quality in service, quantity and QB friendliness for the customer.I do not recommend this restaurant at all. And the Municipality of Salvaterra also needs to have feedback on the situation, to have more discretion when selecting these spaces for the eel month campaign.José Filipe

I would like to express my dissatisfaction with my recent visit to the restaurant. The food was burnt and dry, with small portions for the price charged. Furthermore, the atmosphere was noisy, glasses and plates were missing, and starters were unavailable. The presence of many flies was also disturbing. If I could give less than one star, that's certainly what I would give.

Eel Month... There were no eels!!! Badly-disposed employees and fried horse mackerel scorched with 3-day-old bean rice! The chocolate mousse was good. It's cheap, but to be avoided.

The value of the menu is reasonable but I didn't find the food to be of excellent quantity and the service was also reasonable. I went with the intention of eating eels that were no longer available, as it was a participating restaurant and it was 1pm.

The general atmosphere and service of the restaurant is good and familiar, quite spacious. Pedro's soup was practically just beans and was cold. The doses could be better presented and better prepared. The Secretos were too cooked and the fries were not very fried.

Very good price/quality ratio. Desserts are homemade?Only one thing is that the room becomes a little noisy! I recommend
