“Foz do Arelho is always a good walk on sunny days, today we went there for our walk and enjoyed this terrace, good atmosphere, friendly and normal service. We ordered two burgers from the menu that come with a dose of fries and the typical ketchup and mayonnaise sauces in small packets. The burger is good and tasty, accompanied by a lettuce leaf, caramelized onion and bacon. The burger is good and tasty, I just thought the bun was too big for the burger or the burger was too small for the bun. It was a good break from our motorbike tour with an affordable menu. I leave the suggestion to harmonize the size of the burger with the bread.

Parking: In low season it is easy to park.”

“We had simply the best experience here today!

We have never experienced such wonderfully authentic Indian food before - the flavours were on a different level.

It is so far removed from the commercial, stodgy “Indian” food we remember back in the UK - this is so very different - a true flavour of the Punjab - made with love and served by kind hearts.

There was a very warm welcome at the door, a thoughtful explanation of all the dishes ( including the Punjabi origins, the ingredients/spices, the recommended combinations, the wines etc ) and excellent service throughout the meal - it really was quite memorable.

The starters of the Onion Bhaji and Gol Gappa Chaat were truly outstanding and set our expectations for the mains. We were not disappointed! The layers of flavour in the Honey Cauliflower and Butter Chicken were amazing - all washed down with a few glasses of chilled Alentejo wine.

For the dishes I was able to try the pork ramen (the presentation and taste were top notch), I have rarely been able to eat one this good.
The sushi/makis (fusion) were the best I've tried in Portugal (in the few Japanese restaurants I've been able to try), including the all-you-can-eat Japanese restaurant in Calas da Rainha which didn't convince me.
The salmon bao was excellent (even if it's not strictly speaking a Japanese dish).”

We really went all out: 2 apps (the grilled mushrooms and the seitan skewers), 2 mains (sautéed leeks and the zucchini cannelloni), drinks (a glass of red wine and the fresh pineapple mint juice), aaaaaand dessert (the apple crumble with ricotta and lime mousse). The leeks and the apple crumble in particular were stars. 10/10! It's a Take-Away establishment and it helps in the busy summer season to call the order in before the pick up. The people working are friendly and helpful even during the rush time. Recently added is the picnic tables outside which is really nice. This is where I ate my yummy California Hamburger with fries. I was told they do local delivery but I haven't tried it yet. Everything is super clean in and out and the prices are very fair.”
