Initially the waiter was friendly and invited me to select a table outside, then completely ignored me once he dropped the menu & wine list! On ordering, the wine was pleasant, the bottled aqua was served warm! The Focaccia with cheese was overpriced at €8 and the Linguini with shrimp was lacking in flavourand the sun dried tomato sauce dry. The only saving grace was the fact that the shrimp/prawns were large. Throughout my meal, not one waiter/waitress acknowledged me, asked if my meal was ok and when I asked for the bill it was presented with " you need to pay inside" to which I did, again no friendly interaction as to whether I enjoyed my meal at all. Very dissapointing restaurant, overpriced for what it was.

Stumbled across this restaurant whilst sightseeing, so glad we did, great menu choice friendly waiters and relaxing atmosphere. I’m not a fish eater and struggle to find menu options but here there were plenty from traditional francesinhas to Caesar salads. Shame we found it on our last but one day.

Very nice Retaurant but what made the difference is the very friedly and competent staff. Also the food is very good quality at a resonable price. We had the Pasta Cabonara as well as the Linguine with Shrimps

Centrally located the outside looked so inviting as were the menu choices we went in. The staff who spoke both English and French were very welcoming and the place was spotless. The dishes ranged from typical Portuguese to more European as well as Hamburgers. The food was delicious and the servings generous.

Had dinner here on our first night in Porto. Food was great. Though we are not a fan of the sausage because it was mushy but it seems like that’s how this particular sausage is in Porto. We didn’t get the octopus as we had it the other night but we had the suckling pig pizza bites, risotto, carbonera, and Cesar salad which were delicious. Service was also great!

We had a very good meal in this well appointed Italian restaurant on an attractive square in Porto. The friendly and welcoming staff had a good standard of English and the food is tasty and there is plenty of choice on the menu. The pizza we had was excellent and there was plenty of topping on it. We washed it down with good cold draught beer. All in all good value for money what more do you want!

We were walking through Porto and saw this great restaurant. We made a reservation for the following Sunday evening. When we arrived our table for 5 was ready. We relaxed with drinks then ordered. Starters included the shrimp and the breaded olives. Delicious. Our entrees were lasagne, two margarita pizzas and the tender veal steak. This was our last evening in Porto and a great way to spend it. Thank you.

We went to this restaurant for my (belated) birthday dinner. I was determined to have a francesinha, as Porto is the home of the dish, and I was not disappointed, it was so tasty and the portion was massive, really worth a visit

Dined here twice and both times had a lovely meal and great wine. Always a long queue outside which is a good sign. Go and see, it's worth a visit.

We heard about Casa Ribeiro from a friend. We took a chance and walked to the unassuming restaurant. Once inside and upstairs we were surprised how sophisticated the restaurant was - in comparison to our hometown Chicago. Bea, our waitress, was a resource about the menu but also about Porto. We immediately received a complimentary port wine drink and a bread basket with hummus and special butter. We ordered the breaded olives, carbonara, and veal steak - along with red wine sangrias. It was great to be inside and watch the street action below. highly recommend the service, food, and atmosphere.
