“Taberna Pimenta is now very high on our list of traditional Portuguese restaurants to visit when in the Vila Verde, Braga area. We chose to dine al fresco and were absolutely delighted!!! Taberna Pimenta is set in a small, quaint village surrounded by lovely greenery and rolling hills and fresh country air. From the presunto, olives and country-style corn bread to the grilled codfish dish to the fried pork cubes and "bolachos" accompanied by their in- house vinho verde: so fresh, so delicious!!! The service provided to us was absolutely exceptional!!! Make sure to call ahead and make a reservation. We cannot wait to return!!!“
