Segredo d'Alecrim is a restaurant that I really love and I think it's a great option for lunch. The atmosphere is fresh, welcoming and peaceful. Typical Alentejo foods, with emphasis on tomato soup, simply divine! Good job. Always coming back.

My wife (who was pregnant) and I went, on the recommendation of good friends from Alentejo, to the apparently nice restaurant Segredo D’Alecrim. We arrived around 2 pm, the atmosphere seemed calm among several families and people and there were some empty tables. We asked and they said they couldn't serve us and that the tables were reserved. I have a hard time believing that they were all reserved, and we could have perfectly waited for whoever was finishing lunch. We do not understand this attitude (which despite trying to be polite) was necessarily rude for a pregnant person. This attitude is inexplicable and unacceptable, we regret it.
