Excellent service. Lovely place for a drink and snack. We had pastel de Tara’s and they were the best ones we had tasted all week Ideal spot for a rest and great for people watching !
Right down a busy pedestrian zone you‘ll find this little treasure of a snack bar offering the traditional Bolo do caco. This is the quintessential Madeiran snack sandwich taken to new levels.The food was lovely, the staff great despite being super busy, and we‘d have come back, hadn‘t it been our last day…
We called here for a couple of cokes on our first trip into Funchal. Service was friendly and quick and the location was great for people watching. The food looked great value for money and I liked the look of the traditional Bolo de caco sandwiches which I will definitely try before we leave. The only down side of this area is the number of beggars. I was pounced upon as soon as I got my purse out of my bag to pay so beware. They only target tourists.
