Had a wonderful meal outside in the alley opposite the Sacred Museum. Wine very good, espresso too. A good example of good regional cuisine! Thank you for the great food!

The place looks really nice. I am pregnant and I cannot eat too much, so I wanted to share a meal with my husband in order to get a few bites from his pork menu. The waiter rudely told us that this is not possible here, that we cannot order one menu and take a few bites from my husband’s plate. So we only finished our drinks and left. Fortunately, there are also other places with better service.

Restaurant in a side street, very nice decor.
Tomato and onion soup with egg - I tried it in several other restaurants, but none of them even came close to this one. Great - I recommend everyone to check it out.
Espada with banana ? is a dish for tourists according to the locals. Banana as a dessert is ok. Fish itself is great

The food was good, the fish was very tasty. Unfortunately the pork was a bit dry. The service was incredibly attentive and outstanding. Definitely recommended with the red house wine.

Cozy little place that is perhaps a little too well hidden in the side streets. Definitely worth it!

It's not worth the trip because of the food. The boss serves professionally and friendly. Quaint shop!

Excellent food, even my wife who is very picky was happy to eat octopus with tomatoes. Moreover there is a small gallery inside.

The male bartender showed no interest in serving customers. Showed no interest in serving us. Immediately told us we have one hour before saying hello. What a great welcome to Madeira.

Absolute recommendation. We came to the restaurant by chance. The innkeeper was very professional and friendly (not pushy, like most restaurants here). It's nice to sit outside. Inside it looks very cozy and quaint.
The food was plentiful, beautifully prepared and super tasty. Be sure to order the bread!!
We would definitely come again.

A little off the beaten track, and well worth a visit. The food is exquisite and the service is to match. Wife had Chicken and I had the Meat Skewer. House wine is amazing.
