Staff is nice, but points are deducted for the toilet, which is in a dilapidated condition and should really be restored. And further points deducted for the regional beef on the skewer and the fries were no longer hot. Otherwise the taste is okay.
For our last night in Funchal, we picked up a restaurant that was close to our Airbnb. We ended up by chance in A.Murahla restaurant, and got a table before the Saturday night crowd swarmed the place.

We had paella and seafood rice. The food was excellent and very plentiful
