We had the tuna steak and the sea bream. Both were excellent. The tuna was nice and pink inside and seasoned with coarse salt and a pinch of pepper. We have already been in Madeira for a week and we will now dine in this restaurant for the remaining evenings. The staff is incredibly hard working and very friendly. The atmosphere is really nice, with a fantastic view of the sea. If you don't come here you're missing out :)

Hello We were there on a Sunday evening when we had just been in Madeira for a few days. It is highly recommended to go for dinner. The staff is friendly and certainly try to speak different languages. They also prepare the food on your plate and the atmosphere is good and friendly and not busy where you have to stand in line and you can also make a reservation. The menu is in Portuguese, German, English and French. It is a truly local restaurant where you will soon return

Superb views but food was not tasty. Gambas were fine but fish was insipid, octopus was chewy (too over cooked) and the veggies side dish were too oily. I can recommend a drink there but not having dinner.

The food is generally very solid but there are no sauces. The side dishes were also “just” average. But meat and fish are really recommended. What made us go there twice during our stay was the great service! All the waiters have a smile on their faces and are up for a laugh or two. There was also always some entertainment on offer, whether it was football during the European Championships, a live chef in the middle of the guests or live music. The experience is definitely worth it. If the weather is good, you can sit outside under fresh fruit, otherwise we recommend taking a seat inside.

Für uns das beste Restaurant, in welchem wir auf Madeira gegessen haben. Das Essen ist lecker, wunderbar angerichtet und zum Teil wird Erlebnisgastronomie (heißer Stein, Live-Cooking) geboten. Der Service ist unglaublich aufmerksam und freundlich. Da kann man schon mal 2 Filets vom heißen Stein essen. Wir kommen wieder! Obrigada für zwei schöne Abende.

Sind mit 6 Personen hier gewesen und wir würden fast alle das gleiche sagen, das wir noch nie so gut gegessen haben, der Kellner hat mein Steak direkt am Tisch gebraten. Es sollte für jeden der madeira besucht ein Muss sein Dieses Restaurant zu besuchen. Die Getränke genau das gleiche, genug Alkohol und frisch. Wenn ich 10 Sterne geben könnte würde ich es machen. Platz 1 auf madeira !
