Really enjoyed the food. Great ambience with a pianist playing. Service was good but felt a little rushed. The main course came out before we had finished eating the bread and my chicken was not as hot as I would have liked. However, the desserts were amazing!
Alfama is part of the portobay resort and they serve excellent Portuguese food ? Dishes are well presented and it's tasty & delicious! The staff was pretty friendly and they managed to accommodate for a toddler even in the evening ?
This is the second in house restaurant of the Portobay group of hotels in Lido, situated in The Eden Mare. Be aware, it’s a restaurant which serves breakfast in the mornings, and is set up to do so, however it’s cosy and a nice environment to be in. I don’t rate this as A La Carte, but a restaurant that serves good, tasty food prepared to a high standard. No dress code, apart from no shorts for men. If you are a prestige member of Portobay, then it’s worth using it, but...
