Hidden just after the corner of Largo do Carmo, we had a good lunch (grilled steak and grilled gold bream) for less than 30€ for 2 with good size portions. Only drawback: it was a coldish day, and they have to keep the street door open to avoid smoke form the kitchen. Simple, friendly and unpretentious!
This restaurant opened 19:00 on a Monday night in November. Posted hours are different on different web sites. This is a neighborhood joint. Mother runs the kitchen and son runs the dining room where there are maybe eight tables varying is size from 2 chairs to 8 chairs. We were the first to enter at seven, followed by a solo tourist, then a solo local. By 8pm the tables were full with local family and diners were being turned away even though one table for six had only one local...
Great food, delicious fresh fish (different type of them), savoury taste. Price are rather low, there is a great amount of food for this price. The staff was very friendly and helpful
