Very friendly restaurant and affordable prices! I had the tuna steak and unfortunately it was not specified that the sauce was wine, which spoiled my dish a little, too bad :/
In terms of side dishes, we had a plate for 2 of fries and salad, fortunately the quantities were still there!

Top restaurant ? quality in an unexpected place. Don't stop at the venue! the view, the staff, the variety is up to par ? The boss is very pleasant and we come back with pleasure. A nugget in the middle of these soulless restaurants, on the side of the road...

The squid dish is incredible, the dining room is very aesthetic, but the restaurant is simple, but warm, welcoming, very good value for money.

A local restaurant. For starters we ordered a garlic caco cake which was very, very tasty. However, in the main dishes of sword with banana and pork with barbecue, the preparation and quantity leave something to be desired. It's not bad, but it's not particularly good either. It's very simple and we think it doesn't match the price. It is possible to eat better in the same price range, even cheaper. The poncha wasn't one of the best either.
However, the service was very attentive and friendly, with Portuguese-speaking staff.

Simple but cosy place. The host lady was warm and welcoming. Food was fresh and tasty and prices really fair compared to other places in Funchal. It is family business and they are genuine and lovely people.

We only read positive reviews and wanted to see for ourselves. I tried the traditional scabbardfish with banana. Fries are ok, vegetables are also served. The fish and banana are really delicious. First of all we had Garlic Breat with and without cheese. Really tasty. Slightly crispy but still a soft dough! You definitely shouldn't be put off by the atmosphere here. The place looks like a rancid bar, but it turns out to be a family run business with really nice service. The prices are great and you are treated really well as a tourist.

This place is an 11/10. We ordered the octopus vinaigrette and fish with banana per the server’s recommendation. Both were incredible. Highly recommend! By the way it is cash only.

Absolutely amazing. The waiter gentle is elegant and passionate to introduce their food.

The only downside is cash only. The price is very low considering how good their food is.
