This was so far the worst espetada I've had in Madeira. There was literally no spice on it except some garlic and I had to put a lot of salt on it to make it taste like something.

Came across this great little family run restaurant on our first walk into Funchal today. Mum is the principal chef and her sons front the restaurant. The food was beautifully prepared and presented, made with fresh ingredients and cooked to perfection. The service was great and we can't recommend it highly enough.
