Very nice, well-kept environment, a little more refined than many typically tourist places. Relatively off the beaten track in central Funchal, but worth the walk. The tomato soup with egg was slightly acidic, but pleasant. The steak on the good stone, the garlic prawns do not leave an indelible memory. Friendly and smiling service. Advised.

The restaurant is quaint and cozy, the waiters are traditionally dressed, there is a lot of fish and the typical skewers on the menu - a classic tourist restaurant. Our meals were good, but all extremely small for the high prices. None of us were full. The friendliness of the staff also left nothing to be desired.We paid the most for our dinner here during our week-long vacation and weren't very happy.

Promising from the outside but disappointing from the inside.Typical decor and tempting dishes but very cold flavors without a smile.Good bolo do caco and good fish. Improvements need to be made in terms of service so that the meal is as pleasant as it could be. We were thinking of going back in the evening but that will not be the case.
The restaurant should not be confused with the pizzeria! I can only recommend the restaurant. There we ate a chateaubriand with the best vegetables I've had so far in Madeira (let's ask for passado!). The Chardonnay was also excellent. The prices are reasonable. As we were leaving the beautifully designed restaurant, we met the owner of the restaurant, a very dignified and friendly personality.

We had pizza's at this place and the service was by far the worst we've ever experienced. The pizza's are not fresh but frozen and taste worst than the frozen ones from the supermarket. The ingredients are falling off the dough and the dough is soggy and wet. Once we pointed this out to the staff we were met with hostility and unfrienliness. We've been closely monitored during the entire meal and felt overall uncomfortable with being there. Very high prices for bad service. I would highly not recommend this place
