We had a brilliant dinner here. All courses were spot on and the desert may just have been the best I’ve ever had - Banana Flambee. Service gets 10/10

Beautiful courtyard setting on a warm summer’s night. Matched by accommodating, friendly and professional service. Food was very good. Highly recommended and happy to say had an excellent experience.

Was a good dinner. They did not know if they could seat a party of 10 before the chef got there. However they were able to accommodate after I called back when the chef was there.

Dietary restrictions: They were recommended on find me gluten free and they were also able to accommodate my sister who is gluten free.

De plek is leuk ingericht, het eten was prima, maar de bediening was onvriendelijk. Een jongere man was erg aardig en gaf een goed gevoel, maar de andere mannen in de bediening waren gehaast en onvriendelijk. We vroegen wat voor vlees in een gerecht zat en kregen hier als antwoord een diepe zucht op. Het restaurant is niet aan te raden.

The staff was extremely stressed and unfriendly, we felt rushed and burdened. The food was fine and the garden was beautiful, but this restaurant is not recommended if you want to eat out in a pleasant and relaxed way.

The restaurant looked relatively inconspicuous from the outside. We didn't have a reservation and had to wait 20 minutes for a table.
We sat in a beautiful leafy patio, the service was attentive and quick.
The food was good, starter and main course.
The portion size was ok, it shouldn't have been less. The restaurant scores points for its ambience. We would probably visit the restaurant again, but there are better ones in Funchal

Very disappointing. Not recommended if you are looking for a relaxing evening in a nice atmosphere. The food was fine, but not special and certainly not in relation to the price. You can eat better in other places in Funchal. But what really ruined our visit is the extreme tension and rudeness of some of the staff. Hurried, irritated before you say anything, impatient, sloppy and even a rude, sassy sigh when you ask something. Unbelievable. Two younger waiters were friendly. But the two older men in particular spoil the atmosphere and scare people away in this way. In any case, we will never come here again.
