We hadn’t a reservation, however, we were given a table explaining that there could possibly be a 45 minute wait. The staff were friendly and attentive and we had our food within 30 minutes. Our food was delicious- I recommend the peri peri chicken (the sauce is amazingly hot), calves liver and suckling pig. Amazing flavours and presentation. A lovely evening was had.

Dinner for two people. Very calm environment and very well received. A dose of cod with cornbread and roasted octopus with potatoes. Passion fruit mousse and tiramisu for dessert, both very good and in large quantities. Without a doubt an excellent choice.

Wij zijn deze avond eigenlijk per toeval bij dit restaurant terecht gekomen. Doordat wij nog trek hadden besloten wij op zoek te gaan naar een ander restaurant, wij zagen ineens dit hele schattige plekje.
Wij besloten onze avond hier af te sluiten met natuurlijk de welbekende Poncha's, als voorgerecht garnalen met knoflook en natuurlijk de niet te missen Espetada.
Het eten hier was echt super goed en heerlijk van smaak! Ook het personeel was super vriendelijk en heel erg betrokken richting de gasten. Er hing een hele ontspanne en fijne sfeer.
Dit restaurant is echt de moeite waard om naar toe te gaan als je in de buurt van Funchal bent!

We went to the restaurant in a group of 4 and were soon seated. We had a starter of garlic bread, some fried fish and I had some prawns, it was all quite well done. After that as main course we had meat kebab which was delivered hung up, I got the fish if the day with sweet potatoes, the fish was very good but it had too many fish bones in it.

What a great discovery of a place. The food is incredible, very good. The waiters are very attentive and friendly. And the atmosphere and decoration of the restaurant is perfect. We ordered grilled octopus and grilled meat and it was amazing. A success in every sense.

Really nice place, the food and the waiters where fantastic! The only thing i can comment on is that it is a tiny bit pricey.
Very pleasant place with very good barbecue skewers, strongly recommended, lots of food in portions so you won't leave hungry.

We went for dinner and the truth is that we left super full. The waiters are very friendly and the atmosphere on the terrace is very pleasant (they have a smoking and non-smoking area).
Now, as soon as we arrived they insisted that we have some appetizers and when we told them that they did bring us a kind of green cocktail like a lime that we thought was courtesy of the house (since they did not tell us the price at any time) and for the They didn't nail €4.4/person. I recommend you reject it from the beginning.
As for the food, the bolo de caco was quite bland, however the turkey with pineapple and the chicken were spectacular.
For the quality it seemed a little expensive compared to other places in Funchal, however, the dishes are huge and the terrace is very nice.
