Food was really mediocre. Tomatoes tasting like palstic. Beef with the mildness of silicone. They should really try what they serve to people. And the stuff was definitely not happy that we did not line the food. So... Better check the place across the street.

Small restaurant with typical local food which is really tasty. Located in narrow but crowded street so it’s pretty hard to find seats, but it’s worth it ?
The traditional bread was bad, it had fish taste (maybe grilled where fish was grilled before) for someone that hates fish it was bad ... The main dish was just ok ... The waitress shouldve asked about the food when the plate was kept almost full..

The food was good but the service was very slow. More than 1h30 to get the last dish on our table, they didn’t come at the same time. We were only 3 and they only had another table with another person. Very disappointing experience.

Excellent cuisine in an authentic location in Funchal, away from the tourist strip. We were treated very attentively and hospitably by the owner. The dishes are freshly prepared with very good ingredients and are very tasty. The price-performance ratio is absolutely right here. We'll definitely be back!
