Churrascaria São Roque is a gem offering excellent value for money and a unique experience. This atypical Madeiran restaurant roasts kebabs over coals, serving good and homemade food. Enjoy the company of friends around a traditional table, savoring tasty fried corn. Prices are adequate, and while the atmosphere can be noisy, it's typical of the experience. The restaurant is very hospitable and the staff is very helpful. They ensure guests enjoy their meal and are accompanied and advised. The meat is tender and very good, with the waiter even helping to grill and serve it. Specialties of Madeira are served as an accompaniment.
