Me and six friends ate here on our first day in Madeira and it was a treat. Excellent service from the second we walked in and such a lovely experience. Food was delicious, I had the scallop pasta, friends also loved the sea bass and octopus risotto. Would absolutely recommend.
This place is absolute disappointment. Don’t be seduced that it was mention in Michelin guide in 2018, food is conventional and portions are small but price is two times more than in normal place. Moreover you will be charged with 22% tax for alcohol and 12% for food and you are not warned about it in menu. And in the end waiter gave us for small pastels de nata, of course we decided it’s a complement from restaurant but than it was also included in menu(pastels were not good)....
A tourist trap. The presentation of the dishes was monotonous, the side dishes for 4 different dishes ordered were absolutely identical. They include a 22% tip (tax) in the bill without saying anything about it, and there was no information about it on the menu either. At the end of the dinner they brought us microscopic cakes that looked like a compliment, for which we were later billed. Such establishments spoil the impression of Portugal, which is generally hospitable. This...
