I came for dinner with my family and we were immediately warmly welcomed. We started with the bolo do caco, followed by grilled tuna steak, black swordfish with banana and passion fruit and bolognese pasta. In terms of quantity/quality, it was quite good, we were well served. Very affordable prices. We drank sangria and poncha, very good and freshly made. For dessert, we chose passion fruit pudding and papaya and mango cheesecake, both very good, but I must highlight the passion fruit pudding. All the staff contributed to making this experience even better, with their friendliness, attentiveness and jokes. Experience to repeat and recommended! Thank you very much to all the staff at this incredible establishment.

De andere foto's waren voor ons totaal niet representatief voor de portie grootte en presentatie. Eten was vrij smaakloos en erg weinig. Daarnaast was het voor Madeira vrij prijzig, dat er dan ook nog 10% servicekosten bij op worden gerekend, vind ik ronduit schandalig. Service was prima en misschien hadden we een slechte dag van de chef maar vergeleken met alle andere eettentjes was dit de slechtste ervaring voor de hoogste prijs! Helaas...

Eten is prima, maar de niet op het menu aangekondigde 'service charge' van 10% komt daarna wat rauw op je dak. 'Iedereen doet het' is een mager excuus, want uiteindelijk bleek dit het enige restaurant op Madeira wat ons deze streek leverde.

It was already late midday and we were hungry. The waiters saw us as we sat down. Unfortunately nothing happened for 10 minutes, then we had to ask for the menu. A pity The slightly lackluster service continued. They often stood in the doorway and chatted instead of looking over at us. We finally ordered the banana fish. To try it once on our vacation. It tasted relatively good, there was no comparison. The mixed salad was so roughly cut that everything had to be chopped up further at the table. Unfortunately, the empty glass of wine was also ignored. Maybe we had a bad day in terms of service. Unfortunately it wasn't that comfortable and it isn't professional

I am surprised by the poor opinions of other customers. Someone who gives 2-3 stars is probably drunk or stupid. The food is delicious, amazing, fantastic. The octopus is delicious, the portion is large, the salmon in orange sauce is great. The best service possible. I recommend.
