The best thing about this place is the wonderful position: in the very centre of Funchal, very close to the port, it is a wonderful point to start your journey in Madeira. Rooms are modern and beautiful, they are cleaned not very often (in 8 days, only one day was cleaned). Very easy check in/out. We stayed in a studio (201) for 6 nights. It was in an excellent location close to everything. We were expecting an apartment but it was actually a hotel room offering odd day cleaning and basic facilities to eat in. The owners were responsive when I messaged to ask for bowls for breakfast cereal though. The bathroom was big, the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. There was a nice view of the Se out on the balcony. Air Con worked well but the tap and shower took a long time to come out hot (which I think is a waste of water but apparently it is not a problem in Madeira!) Overall it was very good value for money and we did enjoy our stay.
