We really love this place. We love the simple menu and very well cooked fresh food. We have been twice it's so good. Both times we had the chicken served hot with a sort of piri piri, the best homemade fries with fresh garlic, superb Bolo do Caco better than anywhere else and a lovely fresh salad with Avocado. Simple food but the highest quality and nice friendly staff serving on. This place for us is one of the best kept secrets in Funchal, don't tell everyone.

Excellent place for chicken and chips reasonably priced.
This is our second time there in a few days because we were very impressed the first time. I have never eaten such delicious chicken as I did here. The second time we ordered the mixed grill platter for 2 people (€31). You then have to order side dishes such as fries and or salad. The meat was again well prepared and very tasty! Absolute recommendation!

The restaurant consists of two floors, the ground floor is a fish restaurant The service and reception are excellent Prices are reasonable for the fish served Garlic bread is excellent as a starter before meals, and the tuna salad is very good Fried potatoes with a sprinkle of dried garlic Good shrimp pasta An excellent and delicious assorted fish dish worth 45% is definitely enough for two people

Apathetic employees, the dish arrived 6 and a half minutes before the side dish which was heated in the microwave (the bowl where the beans came was scalding), exaggerated prices for the diner who was already cold when the side dish arrived

Really good Peri Peri chicken and very good value for money. We had a whole chicken (recommend the spicy sauce) rice, chips, black beans and veg plus drinks for around €60. Lots of locals eat here so you know it’s good
