“Beautiful, well deserves the five star all around. Food is not only great, they are beautifully presented, as you can see from the photo. Outside is very casual if you want to enjoy the hustle and bustle of the town while you eat, the inside is very nice classy dining experiences

Staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly, they lent us a charger for my phone which was life saver (for my wife who as a result spared my life…)

Food was very delicate in taste not too strong but perfectly balanced.
We had the famous Scabbard fish lightly fried with tropical sauce (and fried banana) was just salty enough but not too salty. Of course if you like salty you could add.

Octopus risotto was also fantastic. Loved that each dish had flower decor.

We ordered apple crumble by recommendation, tbh I didn’t have such high expectations, because how good can you make an apple crumble right? But it was very very good even for a Brit.

“Restaurant Goya is something new and modern for the city of Pazardzhik. I was definitely impressed. I was there recently at Sushi Night - on 07/20/2024. I ate delicious sushi made with professionalism and drank cocktails that were something new, mysterious and a delight for the senses. The main menu is also not to be missed... they cook very tasty there. The service was at a very high level. The music also helped to create a unique atmosphere. Well done and see you soon!“

“We stopped for coffee & cake as we had walked past on a previous day & the cakes looked scrumptious. They tasted as good as they looked & the coffees were great. My daughter said the lemon meringue tart was as good as her own with lovely marshmallowy meringue.“

“We ate tasty and aromatic dishes, Espada with banana and sweet potatoes was delicate. The same fish, i.e. scabbardfish, in the Asian version was served with rice, accompanied by blanched broccoli florets and sorrel, typical of Madeira cuisine. The dish was slightly sour, the lemon marinated in spices added this flavor. Really well composed at a reasonable price!The children ate the wok dishes (pasta, chicken and vegetables) with gusto. The wok was slightly over salted but forgivable :-)“

“Restaurant a little out of the center but worth going there. Far from the crowds but refined cuisine and top service.
It’s a change from pizzas, pastas, etc. And all this for not much more expensive than in other restaurants. Plus discount if you come from a restaurant in the nearby square if it is full. A pleasant moment“

“Intimate setting with sea view and live saxophone player (Not every day, check availability) who plays a wide repertoire in a Lounge style (ABBA among others)

For the menu you will find more sophisticated dishes than in most restaurants in Madeira!

I recommend the executive menu at €55 per person which includes 4/5 glasses of wine and a starter/main course/dessert!

For the starter I highly recommend the foie gras in two textures, and for the main course the beef Rossini.

The only weak points of this establishment are the waiting time between the starter and the main course, and the toilets which denote the standard of the establishment…

Small bonus, for 20€ it is possible to be taken to the restaurant in an old car which makes the experience all the more romantic!“

“This place has been recommended from someone who lives on Madeira. This has been the best bakery on the island. Quality and price wise: we had 2 drinks (coffee and fresh orange juice) and 3 pieces to eat and paid only 9,30 euro. The bakery pieces were fresh and still warm. Absolutely delicious: taste perfect, consistency perfect.“
