We had the most wonderful dinner at Gazebo last night. We have previously been to Gazebo for private events but this was our first time going since they opened it up as a restaurant and it was just as special an experience. As always, Filipe’s food was exquisite, presentation perfect and the atmosphere intimate. Everything is sourced locally and the homemade bread was up there as some of the best I’ve ever had!
Such a special experience with outstanding food, service, and atmosphere -- and a great value for the money. Chef Felipe personally visits each table to chat with the customers and describe the flavors of the dishes. This is a restaurant that can't be missed while you are in Madeira and there's no double that a Michelin star is in its near future.

WOW! It is hard to live up to a name like "experience" for a restaurant, but this one does, and then some.
Fairly new on the island, this is a dining "experience" not to be missed. If you are visiting make this your number one plan for a night out, if you live here schedule a special night to go to the Gazebo, you will not be disappointed.
