I remember it being a good restaurant, with good service and, above all, good distance between tables. However, I no longer remember the dishes we ate or how much we paid. The food was good, as meals in Funchal are generally good for a restaurant of this level, and the price was higher, as prices are generally higher in restaurants of this level in Funchal.

Very warm welcome - even though I had not booked! The boss is attentive and speaks at least 5 languages ? We ate very well. Menu at 42 euros, very generous and well served to the sound of the violin ?

Nice place with friendly staff. We ordered a menu starter & main for €35,- with a bottle of wine. The food was amazing, the carpaccio was excellent beef and the shrimp risotto was really tasty with lots of shrimp.
Would absolutely recommend this place, great food and actually affordable as well.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was beautiful and elegant. However, the food and service did not match the upscale vibe suggested by the servers' attire and the silver plate covers on the dishes.
The service was impersonal; the waitress barely spoke to us beyond abruptly taking our order. We even had to flag down another server to get our bill.
The food was very bland. The baked cod was overcooked and had many bones, and the accompanying vegetables were unseasoned. My husband found the shrimp curry to be just okay.
Despite the beautiful presentation of the dishes, the overall experience with the food and service was disappointing, and we will not be returning.
