What sets Indian Palace apart from other Indian restaurants is that you get free crusty Indian bread with dips. +++++

We tested the vegetarian dishes and were pleasantly surprised by the large selection and taste. The prices in comparison to other Indian restaurants in Funchal are quite cheap. I think the quality is great. +++++

Vegetarian options: The paneer cheese is made fresh every day. This is nice and soft and aromatic!
In my opinion, the aroma of the masala sauce is the best compared to other Indian restaurants!

In addition to being extremely slow, once I got home I realized that I was charged incorrectly: instead of being charged €35.80, I paid €35.90. It's true that I didn't realize it, but it's suspicious to be in their favor. Look carefully if you pay by card. That aside, I don't recommend it because the service is very, very slow. The first course was brought to us soon, but the last two at least 40 minutes later, and both at the same time. If you have to pay a big bill, they will serve you faster, as we proved.

This is the only good authentic Indian restaurant on Madeira we have found. Delicious, great ambiance, great service. Food is piping hot and correctly spiced the right way. We went to several "Indian" restaurants in Madeira on our trip. None were particularly great. They all had 4.6 star reviews on Google Maps or some such ratings. If you are craving real Indian food and not somebody thinking that adding Garam Masala to a dish makes it Indian try this place.

Great restaurant! Gladly again! Price performance is right, food was great, service was very good and accommodating! Food can be chosen in terms of spiciness, cheese naan was one of my highlights!
Great Indian food! Another stellar find, recommended by our friends. The food was excellent, I ordered the Lamb Vindaloo at an "8" and would do a "10" next time. All the dishes were great, and the owners, and staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome.
