We were specifically looking for paella on our first night on the island and this was recommended by a local - we had friendly service, and a fantastic meal. Portion of paella was more than enough for two ladies. Recommended !

Starting with the very friendly older gentleman at the reception, through to the head waiter and the service staff.
The dishes were perfectly prepared and the portions were just right. The service was 1a.

Ended up in this very cozy restaurant this evening looking for good food. With a craving for fish, the “fish on a hot stone” was ordered. You can quickly put on a bib to protect your clothing and get started. The still raw fish is served on an almost red-hot stone. Appropriate when you consider that Madeira is of volcanic origin and was once red-hot stone. Patiently and full of anticipation, you give the fish its time.
