Not recommended, I was on the 31st to eat elfrango da guíia, they tried to deceive me, they gave me half a chicken and when I complained they told me that the chickens there are baby, I told them that what I couldn't stand was the deception because a chicken, even if it is baby, has breast and mine did not have it and at the table in front of them, which were Portuguese, it was a whole chicken with its breast, seeing that they could not deceive me as they tried, they did not charge me for the half chicken, they charged me for the companions and the drink, that is not I remove my discomfort from the attempted deception and waiting 1 hour for the chicken

Bad impression of the restaurant due to the attitude. I ordered sword fillet, asked what the side dish was - they said boiled potatoes and vegetables. I asked to exchange the potatoes for boiled sweet potatoes and they said I had to give up the vegetables. Ok. When the bill came they charged €7 for the sweet potato!? I complained but they said it was on the list to which I replied that when I asked what came with the dish, they didn't say that all side dishes were paid separately. I found it scandalous and I will attach the bill as proof. This behavior towards customers is shameful.

Simply one of the best restaurants in the area. We have been here numerous times over multiple Madeira visit and have not had a bad meal. The Chicken is a highlight.

Really disappointing codfish, dry and over cooked. For a fish restaurant to serve up poor fish could be a one off but their attempts to provide gross serving sizes in place of quality tells me they have given up trying to provide quality and assumed quantity is enough. Service was ok but nothing about the food is commendable.

We ordered a fish from the daily catch with salad. We could choose the fish from the fridge. They prepared the fish quickly and the service was good. The waitress was decent and kind. We payed about 72€ (this price contains one big bottle sparkling water and a sprite).

Lovely restaurant and friendly staff. I had the half chicken which I wasnt too keen on but at €8 I got what I paid for. My company did enjoy the squid and the black scabbard fish with a selection of side.
