Very good value for money (the lowest in Flunchal). Very warm welcome from the server. Fast and efficient service. Small quiet alley far from the tourist traffic.

The worst restaurant there could be! It's surreal that it's open! Unbelievable. I am very sorry for the people who work here and who are subject to providing this service.
Very reasonably priced food for the area. The waiter was also very friendly and welcoming.

Traditional Portuguese restaurant with a humble appearance but highly recommended. The fried, desalted cod was exquisite, and the sardines were fresh and delicious. Bread with butter and salads. Very attentive service. I would return, we had a good afternoon.
Kid-friendliness: We went with children. Very friendly and attentive.

Great little restaurant of the beaten path. The owner is the waiter. Very attentive and friendly. The food was priced reasonably and it was great. Made for a great dinner spot for my wife and I as we celebrate our honeymoon.

Een geweldige service voor en prijs die je nergens anders vind. Een smal steegje waar deze familie hun geld verdiend, en het eten was zonder te slijmen boven verwachting. Kortom... op alles een dikke plus.

Good bar/restaurant to have lunch at a fair price! My boyfriend and I ordered a bottle of wine, two appetizers and two sopasTruly excellent.I absolutely recommend trying the bread, actually not only there but in all the restaurants in MadeiraThe only small flaw is that the tables are located on the street and there is a bit of a slope. All in all a good restaurant

Price-performance top. Not the best of the best but more than fair for the low prices!
I do not recommend this place as food is not fresh, heated in a microwave, rice is overcooked and added tomato souce to hide the taste. Fish was dry, old and bad quality. Wine prices vary everyday, we paid 10eur for a bottle and next day it was 12eur for the same as there is no drink price list. Service is nice though.

Intrigued by the owner standing by the doorstep of the restaurant looking for any possible guests we decided to see what is on the menu. Convinced by the prices we decided to give it a try. First - traditional Poncha de Madeira for only 3€, incredibly tasty and with a kick. Picado was perfect, melting pork meat with amazing sauce that can't be compared to anything. I was shocked with the lowest prices on the island and lack of customers. The restaurant is owned by elderly couple where the husband is the waiter and the wife is the cook. Ask for the prices of the liquors because they are not listed. Payment only with cash.
