Excellent dishes at very reasonable prices. Ice cream made immediately on a refrigerated plate. Very friendly waiter. In the evening, the atmosphere is calm outside (few cars, no smell of gasoline or smoke).

Cozy restaurant with very friendly staff and very tasty food for a low price. Even though the terrace is on the road, you can hear each other well and sit in the evening sun.

We took the set of the day, delicious food, large portions, we recommend taking a glass of Madeira wine, very nice service, great value for money, highly recommended ?

We ate tasty and aromatic dishes, Espada with banana and sweet potatoes was delicate. The same fish, i.e. scabbardfish, in the Asian version was served with rice, accompanied by blanched broccoli florets and sorrel, typical of Madeira cuisine. The dish was slightly sour, the lemon marinated in spices added this flavor. Really well composed at a reasonable price! The children ate the wok dishes (pasta, chicken and vegetables) with gusto. The wok was slightly over salted but forgivable :-)

We tried the Madeira menu (€19.50) and there's really nothing to complain about. Even when people didn't want Madeira wine, an alternative was created. The tomato soup (starter) was not a typical tomato soup, but still really tasty. The meat and fish were great and it was the first restaurant that had salad dressing. Dessert was homemade ice rolls with bandana and passion fruit. It was seen that fresh banana and passion fruit were used. The waitresses were super nice and accommodating. Of course the ambience on a big street isn't perfect, but you can see from the pictures what you're getting yourself into. We'd love to come back :)

The best "Polish" :P bolo for caco on the island. A lot of things are very good here, including: espetada and tomato soup.

Only a very small restaurant but very good. The Madeiran menu is great value and very good. Especially enjoyed the black scabbard fish with banana and my wife's espetada was cooked perfectly and was tasty and tender.

The beef noodles with soy sauce was delicious, fresh vegetables. Friendly staff. Location a bit less, on the busy road. The hamburger is promoted on a sign, but is not on the menu. It was finally possible to order, but unfortunately the sandwiches were gone. Well solved by using alternative bread. Unfortunately the hamburger was dry.

Good food, good service, good value for money. Friendly staff. We ate there several times and always enjoyed it.
Had listed Le Bistrot when researching our visit to Funchal on Tripadvisor. Really glad we visited. Great al fresco ambience. Both had tagiatelle with stir-fry vegetables and beef or chicken. Very tasty and good value.
