I honestly can't understand all the good reviews. Food very average, unfortunately the worst of 10 days in Madeira. Service very intrusive. Ambience not that special either. Although there were several tables available outside, we only got a table inside. Wouldn't recommend the place.

We love good food. And that's what you really get in this case! We ate at several restaurants in Funchal, but we visited this one no fewer than three times because the food was really great. Meat is well cooked, fish is prepared perfectly. The only downside is that the bus stops in front of the terrace. But if you eat inside, you won't have any problems with that. The decor of the place isn't anything special... but once again the food is really great! Nice service and food was served quickly.

We have been visiting the restaurant since our first trip to Madeira. We go to Madeira every year. The food tastes great and the prices for the dishes are sensationally good. The staff is friendly and takes good care of their guests. Small talk is always refreshing. We would love to come back and are already looking forward to our next visit.
