Took my family for evening meal when on holiday. Everyone enjoyed their meal, even the meat eater, who gave an 8/10 for burger and loved the chips. I think the lasagna was a little disappointing as almost looked like a curry and less like lasagna, but tasted fine. Great decor and loved the bathroom. Sadly they ran out of brownie so didn’t get to try this. Fast service and meal came quickly. Not the most tasty vegan meal I’ve had but grateful to have this choice in a city where there are few vegan options. A little more work on improving flavours and presentation and I would give them 5* but I was not disappointed.
Fully vegan restaurant with friendly staff and amazing choices. Definitely recommend the chocolate brownie.
The food we managed to get was really good but they close down in the middle of the day, which I had planned for but apparently they close down the kitchen 2h before they close for midday. So we could only choose from a snack menu.... I wouldt recommend the cheesecake, you do get a big piece but the taste wasn't my favourite
Wir hatten dort einen Burger und die Spaghetti Carbonara. Beides war richtig lecker. Die Pommes waren selbst gemacht. Im Sommer kann man schön auf der Terrasse sitzen.
Nice prices and good portions. Food was tasty but not amazing. I had the rainbow bowl and in my opinion it needed a bit more sauce or something;) But the walnut and chocolate chip cookie was honestly LIFE CHANGING!!! Updated from previous review on 2025-06-20
The gnocchi with pistachio sauce and pistachio ice cream were definitely one of the best things I've ever had. Came back for curry, which was not spicy enough for me, but still tasty. Really big menu, including a large choice of ice cream and other desserts. Cozy tables on the patio and two floors inside, so you definitely won't have to wait for a table. They even sell some beautifully embroidered t-shirts and hoodies. Updated from previous review on 2025-06-19
Das Risotto sowie die Gnocchi waren fabelhaft, genauso wie die selbstgemachten Getränke. Das Ambiente (vor allem drinnen) war sehr modern und erfrischend.
Visited on a Monday night, showed up at 6:30 no reservations, no problem. Had a great table outside. Place was full by 7:00 as a stark comparison to other nearby restaurants. Food was what you might expect and we were very happy. I had a big burger and my partner had one of the bowls, basically our individual dream ideal meals :). Severs were friendly, ambiance was nice, food was tasty. Totally would come back.
The staff was incredibly kind and attentive from the moment we arrived. The place is super cute and cozy – all outdoor tables were full, but we were lucky to get two spots inside, which was just as nice. The menu offers a wide and diverse selection, which made choosing difficult in the best way! I had the Sinful Pasta – absolutely delicious! Super creamy, cheesy, and full of flavor. The portion size was just perfect. My partner went for the Gnocchi with pistachio pesto – also very tasty, with a rich, creamy texture and a lovely pistachio flavor that really came through. The dish had a beautiful color, too. For dessert, we each had a slice of cake, and my partner also tried a chocolate pistachio cookie – and wow, those are a must-try! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. All in all, a wonderful experience – we’d definitely come back!

The food taste fine but it is nothing special. We ate here two time, to try different dishes. You get a nice portion. The place is cozy. The staff super sweet. BUT The smoothie sunflower is really really good.
Apparently the only fully vegan place in Funchal. The ambiance and staff are really nice. We had bolo do caco, a burguer and veganbonara. All were very good, however, if you're someone with an appetite, the pasta might not leave you full. Updated from previous review on 2025-06-15
Really delicious food. Very good service and ambience. The drinks were freshly made with a juice maker.
We had Bolo do Caco as a starter and Cabonara and Gnocci as mains, all of which were very tasty. However, the cheesecake for dessert was the absolute highlight. Definitely order it if they have it!
We visited Mundo Vegan three times for dinner on our week long holiday. The staff are lovely and attentive, the menu has a delicious range of food, all freshly made. We tried different things each time we visited: started included garlic bolo de Caco, guacamole and tortilla chips, and hummus. Mains: vegan carbonara, lasagne, sinful pasta (all were 10/10), light and refreshing. Desserts: change daily, all made fresh. We had passion fruit cheesecake, orange and chocolate marble cake, peach basque cheesecake, and chocolate mousse (the mousse is a must try). Their smoothies and fresh juices are also delicious. Wish we had more time to try their brunch menu!
