We have discovered a wonderful place with great owners at Niquita Coffee shop. We have tried Venezuelan specialties (arepas, cachapas and tequenos) and everything was really tasty for a very reasonable price. Jesus and Fátima are very welcoming and kind. The day we come back in Madeira, we'll be there again for sure and with great pleasure!

Beware! Two different pricing!Portuguese menu has the cheaper pricing (€2 less) on all items.Food is just mediocre anyway, they put too much sauce on both sandwich and prego making them way too salty and ruin the taste.

It makes me sad to have to post reviews that are not very good, honestly, I don't like doing this. I don't give 5 stars because they haven't brought me what I ordered and I don't give less, because I don't like giving bad reviews either and I don't know, I don't think they deserve it. I ordered 4 things, a burger, a sandwich and two cakes. None of the 4 things is what I asked for. But none. We ate it because it was 4:45 p.m. and we were already hungry and it wasn't going to be returned to wait another while... was it delicious? Yes, I don't deny it, but unfortunately, it wasn't what I asked for. In short, a little flat, but very good eh.

August 2023 Edition: unfortunately, it’s not what it used to be. The restaurant/cafe was sold, the quality dropped drastically and the prices increased. The staff are also not very friendly nor are they very interested in working there.With great regret, I no longer recommend this place. If before it was a 5, after the sale it became a 2.It's a perfect place to have a "cheat day", the food is fantastic, quite delicious, and much of the food there is traditional from Venezuela.Through their website you can see the menu, and the variety is quite large.In relation to space, it is quite small inside, with the outside being a little larger.But it is a place that is well worth the stop.
