The first impression was very inviting, sitting here is very comfortable. The outside terrace was perhaps half occupied. The service took a while to come to our table. We had to wait a good 10 minutes for a glass of wine. Our carpaccio was average, for the main course we ordered tuna steak medium. It was served and presented on a hot stone. Unfortunately the fillet was tight and a little too cooked. The service was not very present and attentive. Portion size ok.

Terrace ok. Dish ok. But otherwise I recommend that you eat before coming. I had a plate of penne with salmon for 17e, and really not enough. I'm not a big eater but there are limits. I'm leaving here as light as air.

Overall friendly service and nice ambiente, but the food was not delicious at all. The burger was a soggy bun which had a weird after taste. The chicken curry did not have any seasoning and the grilled vegetables as well. But I have to admit that the noodles were indeed delicious. Overall I would not come here again, sorry.

Very nice place. Supposedly in the center, but quiet, peaceful and very atmospheric. The food is delicious. Pasta with shrimps was brilliant, tuna steak on a hot stone was simply the best thing my husband ate in Madeira. We highly recommend it ? nice, not pushy, discreet service. 11/10!!!

Very pleasant café restaurant, found by chance at the bend of a street. Very pleasant staff and decoration as well. We had 2 coffees as well as a passion fruit mousse, it is without regret that we would have returned there if our stay was not over.

We stayed for dinner because menu looked attractive and we were living just above. They way how everything looked we expected higher than average quality of food and service. Didn't happened. We ordered file of Black Scabbard fish and pasta with shrimps. Fish was testy, but portion was extremely! small. Pasta wasn't the best one. On a positive side - Sangria was good and Tapas quite testy. So, the total experience was average and I would not recommend this restaurant for dinner. There are dozens other choices around.

Cute restaurant on a very quiet street. We randomly stopped in there to drink coffee and eat dessert. The woman who welcomed us was very friendly. We had a passion fruit mousse for the 2 of us which is normally for one person and we did well, it was generous and extremely delicious. With that, we had 2 coffees, a tiramisu coffee and a banana split which were also delicious.
We highly recommend, if we weren't leaving Madeira so quickly, we would have gone back!

We stopped here for dinner a bit by chance, nice surprise! The tomato soup (without egg) is truly delicious and also the grilled salmon, accompanied by a mound of rice and steamed carrots and cabbage, very good. Staff of young, smiling and kind guys.
