Breakfast on the go to try the famous Portuguese pastel de nata and Madeiran quellejada. Well made desserts, freshly baked. Friendly staff but some problems with misunderstanding the English language. Excellent value for money.

We stayed in the hostel down the street here, but even when we were no longer here we came back to this bakery for tasty pastries but also good sandwiches. We had some difficulty navigating the menu, but the staff helped us perfectly with this, definitely worth a stop for anyone in the area! You get value for your money here
For 6 euros we got 1 pastel de nata here, 1 sandwich with omelette and a sandwich with steak, cheese, tomato lettuce, really delicious!!

The queijadas is amazing, taste like cheese cake but not too sweet. Coffee is also decent.

The best breakfast/lunch place in Madeira. During our 10 day trip on the island we came here everyday. Even after we switched from accommodation we came back. The food is nice, the staff is extremely kind and helpful! They were always in to have a chat with us. We definitely will come back the next time!

For 1.95 a coffee Americano and the best pastei de nata, a lucky break and a great stopover on the way up the mountain. We recommend! Lots of delicious baked goods.

For 10-15 euros you can have breakfast (3 coffees, all sorts of sweet donuts + mini pizza), such a small place for locals (and it’s clear that many know each other, joke, etc.) has a toilet.

Very tasty bakery goods. I asked the staff if they use butter or margarine and they use margarine. If that is a good or bad thing I guess depends on your beliefs.
These cheesecakes were recommended by Ricardo Jorge from KW. I didn't know about this little cafe. The cheesecakes and NATA pastries are made on site, super fresh and of excellent quality. The coffee is also good and well made.Without a doubt, a place to visit and the prices are super reasonable.Cash payment only. They do not accept cards to pay.
