I've had something here several times. The food they offer are typical and traditional Madeira snacks. The price is good for some dishes, drinks and some dessert.

Pleasant bar with pleasant service. The advantage is that it is open until two, as most businesses close at 11 p.m. A large selection of drinks and some beer too :)

Nice bar, friendly staff, good food and cold beer. Visited by locals as well as tourists, always a good sign for me, and cheaper than the tourist traps in Funchal center. Highly recommended.

Very good bolo do caco, one of the better ones we have eaten in Madeira. Reasonable prices. Soda is not as cheap as beer and other things. Ok staff. A bit worn premises, could do with new seat cushions on the chairs.

Nice restaurant if you can get a seat on the terrace. Service was great. Food also great if not a bit more expensive than other places but I guess there is a premium for the setting. Nice place overall.
