Food good. The beef is a bit tough, but it's hard to find a restaurant that makes soft skewers. So basically standard. :) Unfortunately, the downside is that it's hard to wait for the bill. Finally, I had to go to the bar myself because the staff, despite asking for the bill, was not interested in settling the bill.

Grilled octopus is incredibly tender. The bolo do caco is hot, seasoned with garlic and very crispy. The espada with banana is also very successful. I recommend. All served with vegetables. We had an extra 1 fries and 1 polenta, which were also very good. Everything is very generous. Price in the upper average, which is justified.

I decided between the Marisqueria and this restaurant for dinner. Unfortunately I was very disappointed: 1. Service very unfriendly. Tourist processing. 2. Was looking forward to an octopus salad and received a garlic grab from remaining section tentacles (solid chewing gum). In really bad quality. Two pieces of “real” octopus meat were added as an alibi. The rest of the salad wasn't worth mentioning either. So not worth highlighting for Funchal either! 3. We had to ask the waiters to pay 3 (!) times, even though only one other table was occupied. So I see it differently as courteous and friendly and have to agree with the previous speakers in this respect. Unfortunately! 4. The bar next door had a loud local crowd, which didn't really add to the good ambience.

You can easily find seats, the service is courteous, respects the right times and even after you've finished they don't rush you.
