There was only one option for wine by the glass (one red, one white). The wine was corked, and even when we asked the bartender to try it, he couldn't recognize the problem. He didn't offer us another glass from a different bottle. I ended up paying for two glasses we didn't drink, with no gesture of goodwill from the bartender. Very disappointed with both the service and the wine.
P.S. Regarding your response, we only requested a regular glass of wine, just like any normal wine bar offers. We did not ask for a new bottle or any special deal, so please don't misrepresent our request.
Additionally, you allowed us in with our dog, which is a service dog. You are required by law (Decreto-lei 74/2007, de 27 de Março) to accept service dogs.

A gem of a place hidden in the back streets of Funchal. Gorgeous presentation for food and the best bruschettas you will ever eat. Huge selection of wines which are fairly priced and delicious. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Must visit if in Funchal.

Found this by accident , and so glad we did. The menu really doesn't do justice to the creativity of the presentation of the plates.Primarily a tapas restaurant. The plates were very well presented and tasted so good. Staff was excellent at helping pick a second bottle of wine. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Tucked away in an alley which is perfect. Nice and quiet.
Parking: No parking close . Have to find street parking around the corner.
