If you only have an hour for lunch, it won't be easy to get to work on time. The space is located on Avenida das Madalenas where parking is extremely difficult.

Was invited by an old friend to catch up for a meal. It's a local, non touristic place in a residential area, very clean and comfortable. It's a small menu but there is something for everyone. I had tuna with tomato and onions, it was delicious and the huge portion could have been enough for 2. My friend's steak was cooked to perfection. It's not fine dining but it was full with locals which is alway a good sign and just the sort of place I love. The service was faultless and staff excellent. I hope I can go back soon, it's a place I would highly recommend.
Parking: There's lots of parking, I'm not sure if there is a charge, but if there is it won't be like central Funchal.
Kid-friendliness: There was a small birthday party going on near us, really added to the welcoming atmosphere. Like most local places they happily accommodate children who even if high spirited are well behaved.
Wheelchair accessibility: This was not an issue for us but access looking easy and level, I'm sure they would happily assist.
