Eating at Martucci has been wonderful as a celiac, they offer all gluten-free pizzas on their menu and they are delicious. The customer service is unbeatable. Without a doubt, if you need a gluten free place in Madeira, this is your place!

Food was ok, but I would spend my money elsewhere
Italian bruschetta is not Italian. Ask for the bruschetta with tomato if you want an italian'ish bruschetta.
Then the waiter was bringing our order (2 pizza's) but noticed our starter was not finished yet so they secretly put our food back in the kitchen.
When our starter was finished our pizza's were ready immediately after (what a surprise ?). And and last but not least they brought the wrong dish for one of us, so i had to wait while my wife was nearly finished. (At least my pizza was still hot because they had to redo it ?).
Not coming back here.

It was Madeira day and the boss was off!! But reviews good! Sadly the worse meal we have had on the Island, Tasteless soup and pasta, terrible service! Other diners getting dessert menu but giving up and getting the bill! Big table of diners sending the wine back! Etc Etc
Ate here tonight. Worst experience and food in the two weeks we have been in Madeira. Rude and grumpy Head Waiter Miguel who constantly charged past the table so even the atmosphere was spoilt. Soup tasteless and pasta not much better. We were also served after a table that arrived and ordered after us. In fact they had finished their starter and received their main dishes before our starter had even arrived. Suggest you avoid and go a short distance to find far better restaurants.

We've been living in Madeira the past 10 years. Since moving here the competition have increased by leaps and bounds. Martucci is quite new among the "concept" restaurants in Madeira. Concept is where you pay a fix fee for all the courses and wine is included and normally quite good value for money. In our opinion Martucci rank in our top 3 "concept" restaurants with Ill Vivaldi and Mozart. The staff are friendly and attentive without being in the way. Food is excellent and done to perfection. I had one of my best steaks in Madeira here. We can highly recommend Martucci's for a new experience and if you have not tried the "concept" yet, this would be a good opportunity. Ps: the pizzeria area is separate and does not do the "concept" menu.
Ps: Update, we are now 15 years on the island. Still Martucci's is a firm favourite of ours and offers excellent value for money. We can highly recommend this restaurant.

The best restaurant I have eaten in Funchal. The pictures speak for themselves. The dishes are magnificent and tasty. The products are quality, as is the service.
