This restaurant is in the center of town, loved by the locals for the fresh and delicious food, super cheap if you compare with other restaurants just near by designed for tourists. If you wanna experience the “real” food this is the place. They do “plates of the day” and for less than 15€ you’ll get a well served main (sides included), drink and even a coffee if you wish. I’ve been here many many times and always forget to take pictures ? during peak lunch time...
I stayed a week in Funchal and tried about ten different restaurants, this was my favorite and the only one I returned to. Very kind and precise waiters, very high quality food from meat to fish and above all unbeatable value for money!
Good place to eat fish at a good price.I recommend the perch and the snook or something like that hahahaha I don't remember well.The place has the terrace in a privileged location, one of the typical narrow cobblestone streets in the center ?
