Excellent restaurant, the best food we ate in Funchal!!! To our surprise, it was not the beer that was important, but the excellent food: be sure to try Picado (we ate beef and octopus). Great service and atmosphere! And finally, brandy shots, which is not standard in Funchal! I recommend it 100%

We had a very good picadinho, some kind of stew meat, with a lot of fries. Together with some large (0,5L) beers, a bolo do caco and afterwards coffee and tea for €31,75! The restaurant is in an old mountainhouse, and the staff was friendly.

The best minced meat I have eaten over the years whenever I come to Madeira. It's tradition to always go for the mincemeat. It was divine. We all make mistakes and it's not always ok, but the experience of eating this beautiful mince with the beautiful caco cake is so worth it ☺️

We were there for the first time today, the food was really delicious, the best thing we have eaten in Madeira so far. The menu isn't huge, but it's still quite enough! There is also a very large beer selection! There is also plenty of choice of other drinks such as Cola, Fanta etc. The restaurant can only be recommended!
Dietary restrictions: Little vegetarian. But still some choice! :)

Very good restaurant, which I ended up repeating.
Food well prepared and well served. When I went to the bathroom, there was no soap, I reported it and it was immediately replaced. Service was good, fast and helpful.
What can be more complicated is parking. I took a taxi there and then walked back. The second time I went by bus and it even made travel and costs easier.
