We ate in the restaurant, 2 flights of stairs up. The bar area is on the floor below where the locals congregate. The waiter was friendly and tried to interest us in an octopus dish, and offered us a taste, o.k. but too oily. We settled for an omelette and the local spada fish, both of which were fine and decent value.
The first floor seems to be used by the local men who ‘ride’ the toboggans down the hill for the tourists eating huge plates of stew for lunch. They also have decent food aimed at tourists and we had a perfectly acceptable lite lunch with friendly waiter.
